learnt a few valuable lessons there... seen the true face of some humans... esp my Project Manager..
the story goes like this:
we brought a radio set to ssangyong Motors for them to test, before i went, i received instructions frm my Project Leader(SW) and discipline manager not to commit any schedules or tasks... my role there is just to answer and explain any technical issues there. Full stop...
the meeting there largely revolves around planning and schedules, thus this does not concern me at all so all along i kept quiet...
during testing of the new sample, because of some unfortunate incident, the newer sample is worse than the older one (they found more bugs which does not exists in the older one) of cos this is due to my some of my team's oversight... they removed some useful stuffs when they are trying to remove the useless stuffs... then my project maanger blew his top say how can we bee like tat? every sw got more bugs... like that project how to finish? where is our testing blah blah blah... wah kaoz they customer haven't get angry, he got angry so all along the trip he gave me a black face... , hey it's ain't my fault, i wasn't the one who put the bugs in... but i think as the only member of the sw team there, and my rank is the smallest i gotta take the blame lor... but in front of customers he like 'brothers' with them..so hypocritical...
then he came back to complain to my manager and my project leader i very quiet, never defend the coy... i mean they talking mainly abt the stuffs i was not suppose to have a say, how can i say anything,.. anything i said can be interpreted as a commitment by the koreans... they are like tat... and there was one time i was forced to give an 'estimate' but i was scolded by my project manager already... anyway i dun care abt him lah.. i feel i've done wat i was supposed to do already... there were specific instructions to me and i dun think i've violated any of them...
pics taken by my camera-phone in korea... hehe (went wif 2 oldies cannot bring decent cameras, else they might say.. "hey come here to work, not to sightsee")
