True Love = Possess?

Sometimes i wonder what is true love? To Love is to possess? even if it meant giving ur partner a bad name for him/her? Or let him/her endure hardships just to be with u?

Mabbe these scenes happen in the most dramatic period drama, because of love, one can forgo everything... bu back to the real world is this the case?

Different people will have their own different definition... take for example, one always say "i love u, i love u and i can do anything for u" but to be with him/her, the other party will have to be termed "unfaithful" and be the scorn of the whole family. Is this the perfect ending for Love? u gain the so call "true love" of ur partner but loses the love and respect of the family, friends and society. Is this what is the so called "true love"?

To me I always believe that true love is not only possessing. some people may disagree with me because they feel that only by being with them can their partner enjoy true happiness. Of cos this is the best outcome, if they can maintain their loving relationship and with the blessing of everyone. However what will u do when u realised that just by being with u, there will be a lot of resistance and will give your partner a bad reputation? There is of cos talk that u are just going after what u wan, but is this love? A single wrong move can make ur partner ostracised by his/her family forever. People dun remember all the merits u did, but if u have 1 flault they will remember it for eternity.

Love can be easy yet complicated, if u truely love someone (i feel), u will not only want to possess him/her but rather do what's the best for them. even if it means suppressing ur feelings and not being with them. People who go all the way without any logical thinking are just selfish and irresponsible people, these people i feel don't even know how to love and dun deserved to be loved, much less talk about "True Love". Their "true love" is only possession and not do what's best for their love one.
