Life is still the same.. for me.. been listening to some chinese classic pop songs from my MP3 collection... Well abt a long absence from the songs i must say that "re-hearing" them makes them sounds real nice...
There was a MRT "accident" at CCK MRT on Monday.. A man fell into the track and was killed. Sounds famaliar? Well the news did not do much coverage to it, i guess it's due to the earlier 'accidents' that they don't want to publicise it and produce more 'copycats'
Well still poor as usual, though i got a salary increase and i can afford to buy a car now (cos i can really spend very little on myself and with some outstanding loans), i think i shall pass it for the moment. becos if i buy, means i will have not $$ for other things... like my 'glasses', 'models', 'good food' etc... somemore burden with loans now.. better dun stretch the limit haa... anyway i think i have not much use for a car now also. Even though i can claim mileage for work-related trips but those trips are also not that critical that i gotta own a car and be a slave to it. Perhaps will consider it after i finish repaying the banks...
Well digress a little from the topic, taking the public transport for so long, i seen some ugly behavior, i think the worse commuters are those from the 2 most populous countries now, mabbe not all of them are like tat but some la at least in SG when the usu they dun queue, just cut across, when they queue,they will jostle wif u for a place in the already packed place. Some stand so near to u that u can even smell their (bad) breath phew... it's astonishing that not only are the guys who are doing these the gals as well... mabbe that is their culture in their homeland and they brought it here.. so much for graciousness.Sometimes it doesn't help that some of them (esp from the colder northern provinces) bathe only once every 3 days it's acceptable for them back there but in singapre eh...
Overheard 2 of my colleagues talking abt cars lately.. one was telling the other "buy 1st lah, dun care, $$ later than care"... Guess this is the mentality of youths nowadays or rather i am too old and backward... "Plan Plan Plan 1st" is almost non-existence...Oh well to each it's own
P/S: not to be confused with the actual naming of the species, i shall call my 2 new friends: "Monkie" the Monkey and "Mushruv" the Mushroom or in short "Monkie" and "Mushruv"
