Stevens Shakin' - Because I Love You LYRICS

If I got down on my knees and I pleaded with you,
if I crossed a million oceans just to be with you,
Would you ever let me down?

If I climbed the highest mountain just to hold you tight,
if I said that I would love you every single night,
Would you ever let me down?

Well, I'm sorry if it sounds kinds sad,
it's just that I'm worried,so worried that you'll let me down.
Because I love you, love you, love you, so don't let me down.

If I swam the longest river just to call your name,
if I said the way I feel for you would never change,
Would you ever fool around?

Well, I'm sorry if it sounds kinds bad,
it's just that I'm worried,I'm so worried that you'll let me down.
Because I(love you, love you), love you, love you.

Well I'm sorry if it sounds kinds bad, it's just that I'm worried,Yes, I'm so worried that you'll let me down.Because I love you, love you,Oooh, I love you, love you, love you.

"Click"

Went to bought this movie "click" after highly recommended by my colleagues... this is actually a comedy but it's actually quite touching...
official site:
http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/click/site/index.php

Here's the sypnosis:
Adam Sandler portrays Michael Newman, a family man whose busy career as an architect doesn’t leave much time for his wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two kids. Unable to figure out which of his many remotes turns on the television, he goes shopping for a universal remote and finds the perfect device through Morty (Christopher Walken), who gives him a one-of-a-kind remote with magical powers. With each click, Michael is able to control his career and personal life. But complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

With the help of the remote, he successful fastforwarded those stuffs that he deemed to be time wasting to concentrate on his career. i.e. lunch with parents, bonding wif children and wife etc...
Finally he became a world renowned architect, but in doing so, he missed out on the growing years of his kids, his wife married another man, and his dad died without him seeing him for the last time.

More young married couples in S'pore going separate ways

More young married couples in S'pore going separate ways
Sheralyn Taysheralyn@mediacorp.com.sg

AS PART of a worrying trend, divorces among those aged 20 to 24 have seen the sharpest increase in the last 10 years compared to that of all other age groups.

But the largest number of divorces is still among males in the 35 to 44 age bracket and females in the 25 and 34 age group — on par with 2005 figures.

Altogether, there were 7,091 divorces last year, compared to 6,909 in 2005.
On the other hand, the 23,706 people saying "I do" in 2006 was a 3.1-per-cent increase from the previous year, but is still lower than the annual average of 24,800 recorded in the 1990s.

These findings on marriages and divorces — released by the Singapore Department of Statistics yesterday — also revealed an increase in the number of inter-ethnic marriages, especially among Muslims.

Some 30 per cent — or 1,199 — of Muslim marriages last year were mixed matches, up from 21 per cent 10 years ago. However, this was accompanied by an increase in the proportion of divorces among Muslims in inter-ethnic marriages, which rose from 12 per cent in 1996 to 20 per cent last year.

According to National University of Singapore sociologist Dr Paulin Straughan, "this could be due to more inter-ethnic marriages, so it might be a corresponding trend".
Mixed marriages require a lot more work, Dr Straughan said.
"While there is the assumption of shared traits within the same ethnic group, for inter-ethnic marriages, there must be other commonalities such as education or religion. For marriage, the notion of 'opposites attract' is a misnomer; it does not always work like that. In most cases, there needs to be shared identity." But not all couples may understand this, she said, leading to problems in married life.

On the whole, Singaporeans are marrying later than in 1996, with the median age for first-time grooms at 29.7 and brides at 27.

The percentage of marriages between couples with an age difference of more than 10 years has also increased, from 7.2 per cent in 1996 to 9.6 per cent in 2006.

In general, Dr Straughan noted that the statistics did not buck the trends of high divorce rates and later marriages.
"For divorces, the trends have shown that young marriages are at risk. What alarms us is that it's gone up even higher, so marriage preparation is more critical. These figures show that people are not entering marriage fully aware of the commitment, requisite roles and responsibility involved."

Mattress + bed

hohoho...finally ordered our mattress and bedframe hehe...
quite a tiring process although i think for our mattress, we only visited 4 shops in total (2 in IMM + star furniture ) and mattress center. quite hard to choose for me, cos i've been sleeping on the floor (virtually) for 4/5 yrs (since ORD), now every bed seems soft and comfy to me.. hehe luckily got dd so let her choose the bed is the best... haha..after lying on a few mattress, slumberland, vono, 4-star?, and simmons...she finally decided the simmons Maxipedic /w mem foam is the best among the rest so finally decided to get that one... mabbe it's cos her auntie also using this brand?? highly recommended? or because her auntie say it's good then it's good? haha anyway i dun really care cos like i said every mattress seems comfy to me... haha
got the queen-size mattress + 1 single mattress(promo) + 2 mem foam pillow at $1326 from the mattress center
dunno consider cheap or not... mattress listed price is $1209 then i requested for additional 2 pillows to make it $1300 but cos we ask to deliver in Dec then + 2% additonal GST becomes $1326...

then for the bedframe we got from hommage a platform bed haha..zen style black black in color... we didn't visit other furniture shops, just see price right, design ok then buy haha ...like wat dd said, the bedframe is just to hold the mattress, as long as the mattress is comfy and the bedframe is not too ugly can already.. haha

total damage= $1326 + $950(bedframe + dressing table) = $2276

i think we are quite sui pian..did not visit alot of shops just to find the perfect and pice-right beds haha.. we see we like then we buy.. also didn't compare different shop prices... hehe...

then some hiccups happened to our mattress, the boss and then the lady boss of mattress center called the same night and the next day respectively to say that the salesman put the wrong price tag on the mattress, the org price is $1309 not $1209 so ask me to top up $100... wah i feel not fair right? cos their mistake mah and if i top up $100 then means i gotta bear the blame for their mistake? unfair right? so i propose the $100 we split lor... i top up $50... i feel like tat then reasonable mah cos i'm covering for their mistake liao.. then the lady boss very fierce wor say cannot lah, profit very little already, wat sept simmons bedding will increase price somemore lah blah blah blah..die die wan me to top up $100 somemore dare me to void the invoice... but i of cos not so stupid lor... die die also say top up $50 is my max... haha then she bo pian she say sell me at the oeg price but cannot keep the mattress for me till Dec...must immediately deliver on this sat.. orh ok lor.. my rooms are empty anyway put in their warehouse and put in my housie i feel the same lor... at least i pay $100 less to keep in my housie haha.. but haiz paid the extra $26(2% GST increase) for nothing liao... bo pian lah the lady boss i think angry wif me liao, later i call her she also like buay song like tat (she earn $100 less mah) ... heck care her lor... hope she dun tamper wif my mattresses (1 big + 1 small)..she she dares i will surely complain until the whole singapore knows her shop haha...

now ah hem how to place the bed....
like this?
or like this?
