Boring Sunday...

Headed down to PLaza Singapura to try the "ice monster" on a boring last sunday...
Some sort of taiwanese dessert la... looks nice...

Mixed fruits shaved ice...



My Verdict: Wat a big letdown...
1) The mango Sherbet is tasteless ( the worst i've tasted)
2) The shaved ice is too coarse (dunno whether it's deliberate)
3) The strawberries and the kiwis are not sweet enough

The only nice thing is the mango... really sweet and juicy.. yum yum

Ah Recently, my friend used the word "open book" to describe me... Is it a compliment? haha could mean i am very open and honest, could also mean i cannot keep secrets... hoho ~
i take tat as a compliment la... I mean i have nothing to hide wat, why fear to let others know if everything i do is open and aboveboard... I dun see anything wrong... To expect others to be honest and sincere wif u u gotta be tat first right? of cos i know some things cannot be said la... like secrets others tell u to keep for them and of cos company secrets... Just suddenly feel like jotting down this nonsense, click to read

In life, some of us take big strides
very anxious to reach our destinations,
In our eyes, they have only 1 goal,
And everything around them seems insignificant
Sometimes they fall

While there are also some who thread carefully
Taking baby steps, one at a time
Afraid of taking the wrong step, afraid of falling
but then sometimes they still fall

Life is fulls of ups and downs,
it's not about not falling down
it's about picking ourselves up everything we fall and move ahead
it's about how we see our falls,

for some, it may mean discouragement and dishearten,
they stay in the same spot pondering why they fall, pondering and pondering
sometimes even cry

For some, they blame it on all other factors except themselves
blaming everyone.

And for others, they see it as a lesson, a life lesson
they pick themselves up from the very spot with a shrug of the shoulder,
brush off the dust and move ahead
knowing that they would still be in the same spot even if they think,cry or blame others.

In life we need true friends to give timely reminders and encouragement
True friends do not flatter nor expects any rewards
they just stand at our sides, quietly our every step
Sometimes they may not say the things that we like to hear
but all their words are true, because they sincerely want the best for you

Flattery will only make us blind from our falls,
we learn nothing and it's likely we will make the same mistake over and over again
We will still be in the same spot, moving in circles falling over the same hurdle

Sometimes when we fall, a strong steady arm will pull u up faster
and we will be able stand up stronger and faster
These arm can only come from that of a true friend....
So treasure those true friends around you :=)
