Discipline!!!!
This year I am 26 already..wah damn old liao...gg to grad soon have to plan for future liao...
must start to save $$ after finding a job...think really no time liao...wan to save $$ then must be DISCIPLINED!!! cannot always think this mth spend all liao aiyah nvm lah next mth then save... if have this kind of attitude then forever the bank acct wun move...the mths will pass very fast then followed by years and in the end??? after many years the bank acct still stucked at the same figure... so wat to do? really must have discipline, say wan to save this amt then MUST save this amt every month...it's gg to be tough in the begining but if u do it for a few mths then it will just come naturally but if u dun start then forever will still be at square one...
Of cos some times no choice then in such a situation then the next mth MUST save more to cover back for the loss in the previous month...
No stress? Dun think abt it? then in the end? Nothing's done...so is stress all bad??? I think some form of stress is needed to enforce discipline lor...
The savings even though may not be for marriage or watever, will still come in handy in emergencies. Say suddenly no job...(touch wood) or suddenly wan to go tour or wat or some emergencies... if no savings then wat to do if this type of situation arises?

Final Year Projects
Just finished my FYP demostration to my moderator, He very Bo Chap just like my project supervisor haha... In fact can u believe it? my project supervisor only came to see our project once and that once is when our project is only half complete and he came cos we drag him down to our lab... haha... so our supervisor and moderator all seen our project only once haha...
Anyway today the moderator came in, just look at the project then we just showed him wat we have done, then tell him about some of the functions of our project then tat's it... He also nv ask any questions leh even when we prompt him haha... simply bo chap...I dunno whether it's fortunate to get bo chap supervisors and moderators or not...sighz hope can get "A" for my FYP cos i really put in alot of effort and time ... pray pray...
Digressing a little to project partners, this is the 2nd FYP I've done, the previous one was in Singapore Polytechnic...very unlucky tat time my project partners(3 of them) simply bo chap and i was let down by a stupid lecturer also who promised to help but in the end play "taiji" until the end of the project then "disappear" then cause me not to meet my project objectives...I think that's the first time I failed to meet all my project objectives... Grrrh....
This time was much better although my project partner is also not much help to me... but the good thing is at least he tried...the attitude was there but he aiyah simply too "slow" .... cause my project is mainly software stuffs then mabbe it's his lack of experience or he simply don't have the flair for software. I gave him a simple software routine to write and he took more than 2 weeks and still haben come out with the prototype... So in the end I did his part lor... Took only 2 days to come out wif a working prototype but the debugging and integration took many more weeks...
I think I got a flair in software...I dunno why but I usually can visualise the logical flow of software routines and then break them up into smaller simpler part one by one...the thinking of algorithms just come to my mind when I think... mabbe this is wat they call "flair" bah... sometimes my partner I think also think too much liao lah...a simple alogrithm he think until very complicated and dunno until where... then in the end make himself confused and cannot turn that complicated idea into software codes... My style is to do one step at a time, write one module, can work liao then write the next and so on so forth make it easier to debug also...but my partner style is write everything, dun care can work or not..then debug after the whole thing is finished... anyway his program all I got involved lah...or should i say this project's software mostly(mabbe all) done by me... haha
Think I am getting carried away complimenting myself...gotta stop here... Here are some pics of my project...

Time to change New PC
nowadays my PC keeps hanging dunno why...dd say virus but I used my mcafee virus scan 2006 scan the whole system also cannot find any virus...Use advert Stinger also produces same results... mabbe it's a case of PC getting old liao and must change already??? my attached USB devices also seems to like "disappearing" from the system... Sighz think PC complaining it have been overwork liao ..pestering me to "retire" it ... My previous PC before this one(only owned 2 penitum MMX 200Mhz and my current AMD 1800+) managed to serve me for 7 years this one...3 years then got probs liao..think workmanship getting lousier? or faster means more prob?
but graduating soon so dun think will need new PC unless work need it... Anyway here's my dream PC configuration(if I getting new one):

Lazy Students, Poor Bus Driver
I think this is the 2nd time I am writing this article liao, think I wrote something about this some time back...but now I am writing again cos I EXPERIENCED it... not once but a few times liao...this time I think I will just named the parties involved(of cos not individual names)...cos it's a FACT i saw.
I always take TIBS bus number 180 to Boon Lay whenever I have morning classes , and my class coincides with the school timing for secondary schools. TIBS 180 passes through Dunearn Secondary on it's way to boon lay. Today as usual the bus is quite crowded with Dunearn sec students some standing some sitting... when nearing the bus stop for Dunearn Sec , NO ONE pressed the bell, then the poor driver have to guess whether to stop or not cos the bus is already full... he waited until the bus was entering the bus bay but still NO ONE presses the bell... luckily the driver was very nice, he still stop and open the exit door although no 1 presses the bell and then more than 20 students alight at that stop.... 20+ students and no1 press the bell to alight? tired mabbe? I was also tired I slept at 1am+ yesterday(cos printing my fyp report) and woke up at 6am today... 20+ students all sleeping????? can't be right? or youngsters these days all DAMN lazy...they think they are taking school bus ah? str to sch... no need to press also can alight... or mabbe they just lack the basic courtesy to signal that they wan to alight? If i was the bus driver I will definitely skip this stop if no1 press the bell... if that's the case then those students will curse and swear the driver for not stopping (I've witness this before)... so wat logic is this? Want to alight but dun press bell, how the uncle know? uncle didn't stop cos no1 press bell and he gets scolding and curses...
Yesterday also seen this situation, was taking a double-deck 174 to Boon Lay, then the bus was full of Jurong JC students...majority of the commuters on the bus was Jurong JC students . Again till the JJC bus stop, NO ONE press the bell.... they were all talking away or looking else where...wah sometimes I really admire uncle, bus driver have to read the minds of the passengers... 1 person vs so many of them... Singapore students are plain lazy or wat?
Is it so difficult to lift that finger to press the bell???? sec sch like that JC also like that....Kaoz!

Back to real life
Wah think I am quite "drawn" into the "小鱼儿与花无缺" serial...dunno why but I think mainly is cos of the touching love between 小鱼儿 and "小仙女" cos 小仙女 character is very cute... reminds me of my dd also(also cute and ba dao as her haha). Think some of the things they say are very touching also lor...
but then I think it's time I snap out of the show cos it's only a show afterall... and I got my "小仙女 " also haha and mine is REAL...

"Xiao Yu Er yu Hua Wu Que"
As the title of this post suggest, just finished watching this VCD set of 40 episodes "小鱼儿与花无缺" bought by my elder brother. This is the remake of the old gongfu series by Gu Long "Jue Dai Shuang Jiao". So sad, dunno which script writer wrote the script...everyone died in the end... there's really no happy ending though the villian(s) is killed in the end. All the loved ones around the 2 brothers died... Especially the part when 小仙女 "little fairy", 小鱼儿's wife died, their love was so true yet they cannot be together... (She looks so cute, reminds me of my own dd when she's happy of cos...kekeke)
Don't really like nicholas Xie's acting...always "acting cool"...
